During our seminar in Waverly, NY earlier this month we had the pleasure of coming across and using Litchfield Tanker 26T1. The older, locally-made rig repurposed a stainless steel milk tank and was set up to really just haul water. The 2200-gallon tanker was equipped with a 200 gpm pump and carried a 2100 gallon dump tank...more interestingly though was the site glass for tank level monitoring. Simple design, no electronics needed, and really accurate. Nothing new...old school concept...still works today. The crew and rig also did a really nice job of hauling water during the 2-hr drill where flow peaked at just over 1600 gpm!.
