Yesterday we completed the installation of one of our bridge-mount dry fire hydrants....this time in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Located on Swift Road over the Conowingo Creek, the installation used our saddle-mount design and was funded entirely by Wakefield Lions Club. This project is an awesome example of public service groups working together for the betterment of the community. Congratulations to the Wakefield Lions Club and the Robert Fulton Fire Company for their good work. The system produced a 1000+ gpm flow when tested using Engine 89-3 (1250 gpm) pumper; lift was right around 11-feet. ETT suction head and suction strainer components were used. |
