Dry Fire Hydrant Design #54 - A Training DFH - Autagua County, AL

Looking back through some more of our older photos we found a few that we took from our 2010 rural water supply seminar in Autagua County, Alabama. For the tanker shuttle drill on Sunday, Stan Merrett from ETT Fire brought his "demo" dry fire hydrant with him for our use. The dry fire hydrant prop is portable and let's folks see what a basic dry fire hydrant looks like and how it works. We used it at one of the fill sites and it worked just fine. The folks were able to draft and load tankers at the 1,000 gpm target rate. Thanks again Stan.
