On Sunday, December 15th, crews from around Bastrop County, Texas converged at Bastrop FD Station 3 to practice their skill at hauling water for 2-hours without interruption. The drill was the culmination of our 2-day Rural Water Supply Operations Seminar that was hosted by the Bastrop County Fire Fighters Association.

The folks did an awesome job using seven tenders to haul water and support a 1,000 gpm using three fill sites. Instructors for the seminar were Mark Davis and Tim Legore.

With everything being "bigger" in Texas - so were the results of our NFFF T-shirt raffle. The raffle resulted in the FIRST EVER purchase of a NFFF Walk-of-Honor brick and an equivalent donation to the Texas LODD memorial program. Awesome Job!

A complete summary will be posted in a few weeks.
