Dry Fire Hydrant Design 25 - Deployable Bridge-Mount Design - 1,500 gpm in Cecil County, Maryland

On May 23, 2019, we completed another one of our bridge-mounted dry fire hydrants for the folks at the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun in Cecil County, Maryland. The project was funded in part through a grant program and was the third such installation in the area. The most impressive feature of this installation was the flow test. We were able to achieve a 1,500 gpm flow (we think since it was off our chart and our chart ended at 1460 gpm) using a 1,500 gpm pumper. The 1,500 gpm flow is best we have every achieved using this design. Our target goal is always a minimum flow of 1,000 gpm. Of course that is effected by lift and the size of the pumper used for the test.
Many thanks to the folks in Cecil County for using our product.
